About this role
Design Drafter I at Westinghouse creates CAD models and technical drawings for nuclear fuel assemblies and components. You will translate engineering specifications into detailed drawings, review designs for compliance with nuclear standards, and support product development through documentation and engineering change management.
Responsibilities
- —Create CAD models and engineering drawings for nuclear fuel and nuclear fuel components
- —Compile and organize engineering data for customer deliverables
- —Review engineering drawings and designs for adherence to specifications and nuclear industry standards
- —Collaborate with nuclear engineers to develop and refine component designs
- —Support engineering change orders and departmental business processes
Qualifications
- —Proficiency with computer-aided design (CAD) software
Desired
- —Experience with SolidWorks, ENOVIA, and 3DExperience
- —Associate's degree in engineering, drafting, or related field
Location
