About this role
This is a temporary entry-level customer care position. Incumbent assumes primary accountability for customer relationships by assisting customers with after normal business hours with inquiries, requests, and outage calls.
Responsibilities
- Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) has an immediate opening for a Customer Care Intern - Summer 2027 located at Norfolk Customer Care Center in Norfolk , Nebraska.
- The Customer Care Intern will have a shift assignment of 8-4:30pm the first week of starting the internship for training.
- Shift assingment will be adjusted to 4:00pm-12:00am for the remainder of the internship.
- Work schedule will be Monday - Friday with no weekends.
- This position will report to the Customer Services Lead.
Location, schedule, and travel
Required: Travel required may fluctuate by business need. This is an estimate and will be discussed further with candidates that receive an interview.
