Required qualifications
- University degree in project management, engineering, business, construction management, manufacturing or related technical field
- 2 to 5 years of experience as a project manager in a technical industry (engineering, manufacturing, nuclear or construction)
- Completed Westinghouse Project Manager qualification (or within defined timeline for external candidates)
About this role
Lead on-site service projects for Westinghouse's Steam Generator business unit at French nuclear plants. Manage the complete project lifecycle—safety, scheduling, costs, risks, quality, and stakeholder communications—across nuclear plant sites and corporate offices.
Responsibilities
- Manage all project aspects including safety, planning, costs, revenues, risks, procurement, quality, resources, communications and stakeholder engagement
- Ensure compliance with contractual commitments and client requirements while improving profitability
- Execute complete project planning in accordance with Westinghouse Project Management Requirements (WPMR)
- Coordinate rigorous project communication to keep team, clients and stakeholders informed of progress
- Identify improvement and corrective opportunities to support project success
- Measure project performance using established KPIs including client satisfaction, operational performance and financial health
- Provide reliable financial forecasts and use available levers (EAC management, risk mitigation, cost reduction initiatives) to maximize profitability
- Collaborate with Contract Managers to interpret requirements and manage change orders through integrated change management processes
- Identify additional business growth opportunities
- Develop and supervise creation of project files in databases and systems for efficient documentation management
- Close projects by archiving work in financial, planning, documentation and resource management systems
- Conduct final project quality evaluation and reporting
- Support client negotiations and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders
- Foster continuous improvement culture and capture lessons learned
Preferred qualifications
- Certification in project controls (planning, estimation, earned value, risk management, etc.)
Location, schedule, and travel
On-site at French nuclear plants (minimum 20%), office (40%), remote as needed (40%). May contribute to Westinghouse projects at other sites in France and internationally.
