Responsibilities
- Develop project plans, establish baselines for schedules and budgets, and maintain execution against approved baselines
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineers, quality specialists, and procurement; mentor team members
- Identify critical technical and regulatory issues impacting execution; develop and implement corrective action plans
- Interpret and communicate project/contract requirements and changes to functional groups via change management processes
- Resolve contract clause interpretation conflicts with clients in collaboration with contract managers
- Report project progress and financial parameters to senior management
- Maintain project databases, documentation systems, and procedures for effective records management
- Conduct final project quality assessments and reporting; capture lessons learned and improvement opportunities
Preferred qualifications
5+ years nuclear sector project/program management experience; Advanced Westinghouse Project Manager Qualification; PMI-PMP or equivalent project management certification; certification in project control (scheduling, estimation, earned value, risk management).
