About this role
Senior Project Manager at Westinghouse Electric Company directing nuclear energy projects across full lifecycle: planning, execution, and closure. Manage schedules, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams (engineers, quality, procurement) while ensuring regulatory compliance and client requirements are met. Responsibilities
- —Develop project plans, establish baselines for schedules and budgets, and maintain execution against approved baselines
- —Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineers, quality specialists, and procurement; mentor team members
- —Identify critical technical and regulatory issues impacting execution; develop and implement corrective action plans
- —Interpret and communicate project/contract requirements and changes to functional groups via change management processes
- —Resolve contract clause interpretation conflicts with clients in collaboration with contract managers
- —Report project progress and financial parameters to senior management
- —Maintain project databases, documentation systems, and procedures for effective records management
- —Conduct final project quality assessments and reporting; capture lessons learned and improvement opportunities
Qualifications
Master's degree (BAC+5) or equivalent in project management, engineering, or related technical discipline; 4+ years project/program management experience in nuclear sector; advanced proficiency in project management methodology; Westinghouse Project Manager Qualification; fluency in English; strong decision-making, strategic thinking, and communication skills; knowledge of finance, quality, and procurement functions.
Desired
5+ years nuclear sector project/program management experience; Advanced Westinghouse Project Manager Qualification; PMI-PMP or equivalent project management certification; certification in project control (scheduling, estimation, earned value, risk management).
