About this role
AutoCAD Drafter position supporting Westinghouse's nuclear operations at San Onofre Nuclear Station. Convert design concepts into accurate, detailed technical drawings and models while ensuring compliance with NRC safety and industry standards. Role involves 2D CAD work on nuclear facility engineering documentation.
Responsibilities
- —Generate and revise 2D AutoCAD drawings for nuclear facility systems and components
- —Work with raster images and technical documentation
- —Understand and incorporate engineering drawing changes and revisions
- —Ensure designs meet NRC safety, structural, and industry standards
Qualifications
- —5+ years of CAD drafting experience
- —Proficient in generating and revising 2D AutoCAD drawings
- —Previous experience as an AutoCAD drafter or in CAD-related roles
Desired
- —Certifications in AutoCAD or related CAD software
Location
2 months onsite at San Onofre Nuclear Station, San Clemente, CA
