• —Must be able to: plan, direct, coordinate overall engineering for specific projects, plan and direct engineering activities in support of nuclear operations with thorough focus on safety, analysis, problem solving, performance efficiency, availability, dependability, and budget/costs; performs field supervision of complex engineering projects, evaluate and approve design changes and modifications, review work and evaluate work of subordinate engineers, develops specifications, review and qualify complex project bids from a technical overview, perform or oversee performance test and system compatibility, performs short and long term condition assessment of components and systems, provides leadership, direction, development and guidance to employees within similar disciplined classification of engineering work groups. Responsiblities also include: Supporting reactor startup testing, including physics testing and data analysis. Monitoring core performance and provide recommendations for operational improvements.
